About Professor Leann Thayaparan:
Professor Thayaparan is an Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Operations Management at the Carey School of Business, Johns Hopkins University. Her research focuses on the intersection of operations management, optimization, and machine learning within sustainability and retail. She addresses issues related to consumer behavior, electric vehicles, pricing strategies, and COVID-19 forecasting. By developing algorithms, she enhances practical decision-making with a focus on social good.
